Just do what must be done, those words are from a quote by George Bernard Shaw, the rest goes like this; 'this may not be happiness, but it is greatness'.
They have been grinding my soul this whole week, we are so brainwashed into believing that we must follow our dreams, pursue happiness, passion, meaning.. and yes, we should, but so often we just need to do what must be done. I wonder if our ancestors had the privilege of following their passion? I'd bet they just did what needed to be done to survive, to take care of their families, and there is no shame in that, that, in fact, is greatness. Get skin in the game. Pierre
