Human beings are built, evolved, to desire short term results. As a species basically we've evolved to survive until puberty, to then want to have sex as soon as possible, and hopefully survive long enough after that to raise our kids out of infancy. That's it. Anything that requires a longer term commitment is incredibly difficult and takes some work. Here's one, remember that project that you've been wanting to start, but it doesn't have any immediate gain in the foreseeable future, like getting the girl/guy, so it keeps falling to the bottom of the list? Well, if you've started it at the start, you'd have finished by now. *micdrop* Today, start something. Get skin in the game. Pierre
