Asking good questions is paramount to getting to where you want to go in life. Do you know what is the stupidest question, that I keep catching myself asking? Why can't I ... Why can't I get a job, why can't I make ends meet, why can't I be more creative, why can't I get that book started, why can't I *insert your desire here*. Your small you, your primitive lizard brain's, main job is too keep you safe. If it had it's way, it would keep you under the covers or in the cave, forever. So when I ask myself a question that begins with Why can't I, the lizard brain will delight in giving me all the reasons why I can't: You're not good enough. You're not smart enough. You are lazy. You don't have the qualifications. You parents neglected you. I've learnt, again this week, to rather ask, What would it take... Now there is a question that your lizard brain can't answer. It is a question that will trigger the big you to answer. Get skin in the game. Pierre
