There was a cartoon in the New Yorker a few years back, it was of a guy standing at a bar, telling bar tender: "I know I'm nothing, yet I'm all I can think about." Our minds can be our own worst enemy, better to step back often from all that thinking, thinking, thinking.. Do you have a practice, that helps you get out of your head? Meditation is the obvious one, and it works like a bomb. Another one for me is weightlifting. When I'm standing in front of the bar there is nothing else I can think about other than lifting that weight. It takes all my concentration and attention, and for that moment, I'm free from the hamster wheel in my head. Get skin in the game. Pierre
