Threes. I like things in threes, and I suspect I'm not the only one. I also like threes when faced with a decision. Three boxes that need to be checked before I proceed, three anchors to drop, or three gates to pass. 1. Inner Knowing. What do I know, sense, or feel about this? What does my gut say? 2. Outer Knowing. Is there information outside confirming my decision? A friend, a mentor, a community, or an authoritative text perhaps? 3. Tradition, what does my tradition tell me I should do ? I'm a westerner, a South African, etc. Hundreds of generations before me have faced similar questions. What would they do? Get skin in the game. Pierre
