Around 10 years ago a nun taught me how to make a difficult decision.
Making any decision is a lot like trying on clothes, choosing what to buy. You try it on for a while and feel what it feels like, walk around the store, look in the mirror, maybe take it home to try it on there (in better light), but for some reason we want to make our other decision just by playing them out in our imaginations... When I'm faced with a decision, I make it, meaning I decide to do or not do the thing for maybe a week or two, I wear the decision for a while, to feel what it feels like, what it fits like, what it looks like at home in better light, or at work. The decision, more often than not, will play itself out, at least feel comfortable or uncomfortable, and will start a rush of ideas and planning, or not. Today, try it on for a little while. Get skin in the game. Pierre
